I’m a midcoast Maine birth and postpartum doula with a mission to provide compassionate, informed care to new parents and families.

My journey to this work began in 2018 during my first pregnancy. Feeling lost in a system that treated me as a situation to be managed rather than as a person to be nurtured, I sought out people, resources, and healthcare providers that were able to help me enter into motherhood with grace. Although I did not have “perfect” pregnancies or birth experiences, I felt empowered by the knowledge that I was surrounded by people who truly cared about me.

After watching many other families welcome new little people into their lives, and after experiencing incredible doula support during both of my births, I can confidently say that continuous labor and postpartum support makes an enormous positive difference (in fact, multiple studies support this!). Community, informed choice, and deep reverence for the process of birth (in ALL of its forms) are the cornerstones of my practice.

As a birth and postpartum doula in Maine, I serve families within a 90-minute radius of Union, Maine (Knox, Waldo, Kennebec, Lincoln, Sagadahoc, Androscoggin, and Cumberland counties).
